(Wish they’d update it w/ the newest winner each year, but otherwise, flawless.)

It’s almost St. Patrick’s Day. Which means: time to pull out my 2nd fave NHL ad ever (after “35 pounds”) - “Today, we’re all Irish”. 

79° in Chicago today. Kinda feels like this. ;)

You know what? Sometimes it’s hilarious, the things you stumble upon on YouTube when you’re looking for something else.

This is an ad featuring Marian Hossa and Pavel Demitra which aired in Slovakia (approx 2007) - it’s supporting its sponsor, Orange, for the national team - and the voiceover says:

Can you imagine the world if there was no ice-hockey?

Neither can we.

Orange is the general sponsor of Slovak ice-hockey team.

The Tim Thomas one is even better. :D

This commercial was sort of creeping into my head when I kept hearing O’Thisperson and O’Thatperson on the Avalanche roster tonight. Then Foley rattled off the list, and I had to go dig up the commercial.

Simple, clever, effective. Great commercial.
