Just because the NHL is in lockout doesn’t mean cancer research should suffer. The league’s “Hockey Fights Cancer” initiative isn’t getting much publicity this year.
I lost a friend today to leukemia; my dad (whose 72nd birthday would’ve been today) had lung cancer when he died; my mom has battled cancer. Cancer is becoming more common, and #cancerSUCKS.
